Job Description

Dataiku seeks a Head of Design who will run its global design team and steer how the brand shows up across marketing, product, events and customer touchpoints. The post reports to the vice president of brand and corporate marketing and combines high-level brand direction with hands-on creative work. Designers sit in the US and Europe.

The job covers maintaining and widening the design system used across marketing and corporate assets, keeping campaigns, websites, decks, social content and customer messages consistent, and raising the quality of everything the team produces. The leader manages and grows a multidisciplinary group of designers, improves creative workflows and project intake, and balances competing priorities in a fast-moving global business. Brand and communications colleagues, the product marketing and growth marketing teams, plus Events, Product, Sales and Customer Success, are key partners.

Other responsibilities include creative direction for executive keynotes, industry conferences, sales kickoffs, pop-up experiences, merchandise and environmental branding, as well as video and motion work. The leader decides when work should be done in-house versus by agencies or freelancers, and explores how AI tools can speed up creative work without sacrificing craft.

The ideal candidate has more than ten years of professional design experience, has led creative teams for several years, and has managed at least five designers. A strong portfolio of corporate brand work is required, and the role must be based on the US East Coast.
