Job Description
Dataiku is recruiting a Senior Technical Account Manager for the East region of the United States. The company presents its product as an orchestration layer placed over data stacks, cloud setups and AI tools, helping enterprises run AI with central governance. In this role the TAM acts as a senior technical adviser for a limited group of strategic customers, roughly four accounts per TAM.
The TAM coordinates with Customer Success staff to set priorities and engagement plans, tracks milestones with the Customer Success Manager, gives regular status updates, and spots and reduces risks early. The scope covers platform architecture for first deployments and expansions, upgrades, security, data management, compute resources, MLOps and monitoring. It also includes helping clients troubleshoot their setups, passing feature requests to product and R&D, and advising technology leaders on companion tools. The TAM contributes to Field Engineering through documentation and peer training.
The ideal candidate is an experienced architect who is at ease with client work before and after the sale, and who can speak with a client CTO as readily as with a client administrator at the command line. The hiring process has several steps: an introductory call with Technical Recruiting, a video call with the USA TAM Director, a take-home technical assessment, a team debrief, and a final conversation with the company's global field engineering VP.
