Job Description
PadSplit is hiring a remote Host Account Manager to act as a primary strategic partner and point of contact for a designated group of hosts. Operating within the affordable housing sector, this newly formed role moves support operations away from purely reactive problem-solving and toward proactive relationship management. The chosen professional will oversee the complete host journey from initial activation to sustained long-term retention. Success in this position is measured by response times, occupancy rates, host satisfaction, churn reduction, and overall portfolio retention.
Daily duties include conducting structured performance reviews, helping hosts optimize pricing and listing quality, guiding new hosts through initial setup and platform expectations, and managing ticket escalations. The person in this position will apply platform policies clearly, collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, and handle complex or emotionally charged scenarios with directness and empathy. Candidates must be comfortable using data tools to monitor property metrics and identify potential risks before they escalate.
This opportunity suits a relationship-driven operator who combines data fluency with hustle and a strong belief in the company mission. The employer offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, equity incentives, performance bonuses, unlimited paid time off, and parental leave.
