Job Description

Ooma is hiring a remote Implementation Specialist for its Enterprise business. This person is the first point of contact for Ooma Enterprise customers and coordinates onboarding with both customers and internal teams. Ooma offers cloud-based communication platforms for small businesses and larger companies, along with a home phone service and a smart home security solution.

The job covers the full onboarding path, from provisioning and installation through configuration. The specialist guides new customers through a set sequence so they can use Ooma Enterprise products with confidence, and gives technical direction when needed. Troubleshooting issues and escalating them internally when required is part of the work, as is setting customer expectations.

Keeping projects on schedule is a major responsibility. The specialist communicates internally with Sales, Engineering and other teams, flags risks early, and proposes ways to avoid delays. The role involves managing several tasks at once in a fast-paced setting, and it also offers a chance to introduce new products or services where they fit a customer's project.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in technical customer success or implementation work, ideally in SaaS or a customer service call center. Knowledge of networking basics such as TCP/IP, DHCP and VPN is needed, and hands-on experience with cabling or telecom installation is preferred. The US base pay range is USD 66,500 to 76,500, and regular employees can also qualify for bonuses, sales incentives and RSUs.
