Bosch seeks a Senior Engineer or Assistant Manager for Electronics and Electrical Maintenance focused on machine shop operations. This position entails handling predictive, preventive, and breakdown maintenance for various machines and equipment within the production environment.
The person in this role will manage Total Productive Maintenance implementation, control system engineering, and troubleshooting utilizing electrical circuits, programmable logic controllers, and analytical instruments. Additional responsibilities include working with industrial internet of things devices, machine connectivity, process plants, and robotic systems.
The employer requires candidates to track maintenance key performance indicators, enforce safety and 5S standards, maintain SAP records, and support internal audits. The position also involves leading improvement projects, localizing expensive imported replacement parts, and executing in-house component refurbishments.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for machine shop equipment
- Execute Total Productive Maintenance initiatives
- Troubleshoot technical issues using electrical circuits, programmable logic controllers, and analytical tools
- Analyze breakdowns and apply problem-solving methodologies
- Monitor effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions to meet maintenance key performance indicators
- Ensure adherence to established maintenance processes
- Maintain safety and 5S practices in the maintenance area and shop floor
- Manage maintenance documentation and prepare for audits
- Record all activities in SAP
- Implement improvement projects and spare part management strategies
- Execute in-house refurbishment of machine spares and localize costly imported parts
Requirements
- 4 to 10 years of professional experience
- Experience in control system engineering
- Fostering expertise in vacuum tests, air leakage tests, and process plants
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 solutions, machine connectivity, and Internet of Things devices
- Familiarity with problem-solving techniques and breakdown analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Expertise in CNC controllers including 840D, Fanuc, and Rexroth
- Proficiency in programmable logic controllers such as Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Rexroth
- Experience with Fanuc and Universal robotics
