Job Description
This one-year, renewable full-time role in Nairobi, Kenya sits on the investor relations team, which manages One Acre Fund's debt, lender relationships and liquidity. The specialist supports loan reporting and compliance, lender due diligence and the team's records, and also contributes to modelling and analysis.
The team has four members across Kenya and the United States and sits within the wider finance division. The role suits a candidate with finance or accounting knowledge, strong Excel skills and clear written communication, and it reports to the Senior Specialist in investor relations.
Responsibilities
- Draft lender-facing finance and operations reports and help with leadership reporting
- Keep lender files and loan paperwork current, and assist when loans are signed or closed
- Coordinate due diligence requests and prepare lender summaries and presentations
- Build financial models, dashboards and analyses for finance and IR decisions
Requirements
- Solid grasp of finance and accounting principles
- Sharp analysis and close attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling and lookup formulas
Qualifications
- Able to write and speak clearly and pull information from several sources into one view
- Comfortable working alone or in remote team settings
