Deliveroo, which is now part of DoorDash, is seeking an IT Mobile Asset Management Analyst to join the IT Asset Management team in London. This on-site, full-time position centers on overseeing the complete lifecycle of mobile devices and managing carrier services globally. The person in this role will function as the main contact for international mobile carrier relationships, supervise procurement and logistics, and monitor billing data. The position involves close coordination with support personnel and Client Platform Engineering teams to handle mobile device fulfillment, MDM enforcement, and inventory tracking.
The role suits an organized professional with a background in managing telecom expenses, handling mobile device fleets, and negotiating vendor agreements within a multinational corporate setting. Candidates will handle tasks such as maintaining active line records, managing onboarding and offboarding device distribution, resolving billing issues, and generating inventory and cost reports. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, independent work capabilities, and proficiency in analyzing data and updating process documentation.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for international mobile carriers
- Procure, activate, and cancel carrier services and phone lines
- Track mobile usage, review invoices, and address billing errors
- Negotiate agreements with carriers and monitor service-level agreements
- Keep records of active phone lines, SIM cards, serial numbers, and service plans
- Manage the complete mobile device lifecycle including acquisition, deployment, tracking, upkeep, upgrades, and disposal
- Fulfill mobile device requests for new employees, replacements, and regional projects in coordination with support teams
- Collaborate with Client Platform teams on MDM policy implementation, enrollment automation, and compliance
- Handle mobile device allocation and retrieval during staff onboarding and offboarding
- Produce reports detailing asset inventory, carrier consumption, expenditure trends, and policy adherence
- Maintain and revise documentation, user guides, and knowledge base materials for mobile services
Requirements
- Five or more years of professional background in IT Asset Management, Telecom Expense Management, or a related domain
- Practical understanding of mobile carrier platforms, contract layouts, and device procurement processes
- Experience utilizing at least one Mobile Device Management platform such as Mosyle, Intune, Jamf, or AirWatch
- Familiarity with IT Service Management and IT Asset Management tools like ServiceNow, Freshservice, or Jira
- Background working in a multinational corporate environment handling global devices and carriers
- Experience managing vendor partnerships and contract negotiation
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and project management software like JIRA
