Bee Talents is assisting ITFS in finding a Senior Java Developer to join international technology teams supporting a major banking institution. This engagement involves building high-throughput, real-time streaming platforms, time-series data systems, and business processes using Flowable BPM engines, as well as handling Client Lifecycle management. The position follows a hybrid model requiring three days per week at the office in Krakow, operating on a full-time schedule with flexible morning start times between 8:00 and 9:00.
Selected candidates will engage in long-term B2B cooperation through ITFS, starting with a one-year contract that has the potential for renewal. The compensation is set between 140 and 170 PLN per hour net plus VAT. Professionals filling this role will work with modern technologies including Kafka, Kubernetes, and Azure, while translating complex business requirements into globally deployed software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build software solutions utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- Construct high-performance, high-throughput real-time platforms driven by streaming and time-series data
- Develop applications incorporating Kafka and Azure services
- Implement security measures using Azure AD and OAuth
- Work with Flowable or comparable process engines
- Collaborate with global technology teams to transform business needs into deployed global solutions
Requirements
- Minimum of eight years of professional commercial experience working in Java
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- Practical, daily experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, and Maven
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services including Azure AD and OAuth, alongside REST and Docker
- Working knowledge of JPA or iBatis paired with databases such as PostgreSQL, CosmosDB, or Redis
- Background in building systems powered by real-time data streaming
- Experience with AI-assisted software development and software development life cycle practices
- Minimum B2 level proficiency in spoken English for technical discussions
- Ability to operate a business entity in Poland or establish one for B2B contracting
Qualifications
- Experience with BPM engines like Flowable, Camunda, Activiti, jBPM, or Appian
- Familiarity with Gradle
- Prior background in the banking sector or Client Lifecycle domain
- Proficiency in the Polish language
