Job Description
WorkMotion is hiring a Junior Account Executive for a German-speaking market. The posting title refers to DACH, while the body describes the territory as Germany. The role is full-time and remote, working within about two hours either side of CET. Starting pay is listed as 40,000 euros on-target earnings per year, gross, split 60 percent base and 40 percent bonus, depending on location, skills and experience. WorkMotion helps companies hire, onboard and manage staff across borders through workforce solutions.
The account executive runs the complete process, from initial contact through to a hire that is onboarded, and is expected to close deals by advising prospects rather than pushing a product. Typical work includes asking follow-up questions to learn when, why and how quickly a German employer is recruiting and what compliance exposure it has. The role also involves giving the HR sponsor the financial and legal arguments that leadership needs, building urgency in deals through negotiation, and creating a pipeline together with business development representatives aimed at the largest opportunities.
Applicants need prior BDR or SDR work in B2B SaaS, or in a target-driven customer-facing role, and must have led discovery conversations through to signed deals. Cold outreach is part of the job, as is an AI-assisted, organized approach that keeps a HubSpot or similar CRM current. The posting requires German at native level and English at business level, and it values coachable people who act on feedback quickly. Experience with HR tech, payroll, employer-of-record or compliance-heavy products, first closes, and creative ways to reach hiring managers are listed as bonus points.
The team has 26 sales staff across the EMEA region. Benefits include a WorkFlex program for working from anywhere, a well-being day, subsidized gym memberships, a training and development allowance and an annual team meetup. Benefits vary by location because of local laws.
