This full-time on-site laboratory role at SGS in Didipio, Philippines, is responsible for performing analyses defined in the laboratory test matrix and reporting results under the quality management system. Responsibilities
- Perform sampling, testing and analyses as defined in the laboratory test matrix.
- Prepare reagents and test solutions and standardize volumetric solutions.
- Analyze results, including quality control charts and measurement uncertainty, and prepare reports.
- Coach lab analysts, technicians and trainees on testing and sample preparation.
Requirements
- University or college degree in chemistry, biochemistry, environmental science, chemical engineering, agrichemistry or a related science.
- Licensed chemist or chemical technician status.
- Follow SOPs and report safety incidents, including near misses.
Qualifications
- Participation in proficiency and correlation programs.
- Keep routine worksheets, log sheets and sample records accurately.
