Job Description
ChargePoint is a company running an electric vehicle charging network across North America and Europe. This remote Lead Revenue Accountant and Operations Analyst role is listed in India and reports to the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations.
The role owns the revenue lifecycle, from contract review and ASC 606 compliance through journal entries, reconciliations and close activities. It works with Sales, Legal and FP&A, drives process automation, and reviews the work of junior revenue staff.
Responsibilities
- Review complex sales contracts and multi-element arrangements for ASC 606 compliance
- Manage revenue arrangements in NetSuite, including schedules and billing data
- Lead monthly and quarterly revenue close, including deferrals, accruals and variance analysis
- Drive process automation and review the work of junior revenue analysts
Requirements
- 12 to 15 years of revenue accounting, revenue operations or general accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferred, and Salesforce CRM
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills with a methodical approach to audit documentation
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or CA/CPA or equivalent experience
- Experience with variable consideration and contract modifications
