Job Description
The Manager, Partnership role sits within Meesho's Financial Services business, which offers lending products to Meesho users and sellers. The post focuses on the company's Bank and NBFC partnerships. It combines growth responsibility for partners already live with the job of bringing new lending partners on board and keeping those relationships well governed.
The first priority is growing the existing partnerships. That means improving the lending funnel, watching portfolio and risk indicators, and strengthening relationships with partner teams at both senior and working levels. The manager sets joint business plans and works on supply and conversion targets, with the aim of raising disbursals and assets under management.
The second part of the job is integrating new partners from first conversation through to launch. This covers policy, commercial, legal, compliance, infosec and tech alignment, along with user acceptance testing and post-launch stability. The role also involves lining up prospective banks and NBFCs and judging each one on how well it fits strategy, its unit economics, risk appetite and readiness to execute.
The work depends on working alongside credit, collections, product, tech, legal, finance and operations counterparts. It suits a candidate with a few years of experience running bank or NBFC relationships, ideally in fintech or lending, who understands co-lending structures and can present findings to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Expand the partnerships already live with banks and NBFCs through joint business plans, supply planning and funnel conversion.
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk indicators, policy adherence and day-to-day operational health across every partner.
- Run each new partner's integration from start to finish, from policy and legal alignment through UAT, launch and post-launch stability.
- Keep owners, milestones and escalation paths clear so teams work to one timeline.
- Systematise and automate the playbook used for partner integration and management.
- Build a qualified pipeline of banks and NBFCs that matches the supply roadmap.
- Assess prospective partners on alignment with strategy, commercial returns, risk tolerance and readiness to execute.
- Draft leadership-ready documents and share outcomes and conclusions with senior management.
Requirements
- Two to three years in roles running bank and NBFC partner relationships.
- Practical grasp of co-lending arrangements, FLDG arrangements and DLG rules.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills with stakeholders at every level.
- Analytical skill to follow funnel, portfolio and risk numbers and convert them into actions.
- Experience running cross-functional integrations through launch and post-launch stability.
Qualifications
- Background in a fintech or NBFC is preferred.
