Job Description

Tines is a workflow automation company whose platform runs apps, AI agents and automations for IT and security teams. Customers named by the company include several well-known technology and financial firms. Tines says its product connects to any service with an API, which is the basis of its vendor-neutral positioning. This Manager, Renewals position sits in the Customer Experience organization and leads the team that manages commercial renewals.

The manager leads a group of Renewal Managers who carry renewals across the customer base. The role answers for renewal results, including retention in dollars, renewal rate, churn, contraction and on-time completion. It also requires a steady renewal forecast so leadership can see timing, risk and likely outcomes.

The manager steers the team through hard negotiations over price, contract terms, multi-year deals, purchasing departments and competing vendors. The role divides work with Customer Success, so CSMs focus on value and adoption while renewals runs the commercial process, and it coordinates with sales and account management on expansion tied to renewal dates. Working with Revenue Operations, the manager improves forecasting, CRM processes and reporting, and sets up renewal playbooks, timelines, escalation routes and operating rhythms for hands-on, moderate-touch and self-serve motions.

The target compensation is listed at USD 150,000 to 170,000 OTE, split 70/30 between base and variable. The job must be based in Eastern time. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States, since the company cannot sponsor visas for this role. The listing is marked remote.

  • Answer for renewal results across the portfolio, including retention, renewal rate and on-time completion.

  • Work with Revenue Operations on forecasting, CRM workflows, dashboards and automation.
  • Create renewal playbooks, timelines, escalation routes and operating rhythms.
  • Track metrics such as GRR, logo retention, forecast accuracy and cycle time.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop commercial talent as the function grows.

Requirements

  • Seven-plus years in SaaS or enterprise software, working in renewals, account management, customer success or sales, or in a similar commercial client role.
  • Three or more years of people leadership, with a record of coaching commercial or customer-facing teams.
  • Experience running a sizable recurring revenue book and reaching retention or renewal goals.
  • Fluency in SaaS measures such as ARR, gross and net retention, churn, contraction and expansion.
  • Experience building renewal forecasts with real operational discipline.
  • Sound commercial judgment in pricing, negotiation, procurement, contracting and handling objections.
  • Analytical ability to diagnose performance and decide where to step in.
  • Track record of tightening processes, standardizing work, automating or upgrading systems.
  • Skill at winning over Legal, Finance, Customer Success, Sales, Revenue Operations and executive leaders.
