Midlands State University seeks a Marketing Executive for a single position based at the Gweru Campus. This full-time role involves supporting the Station Manager by promoting campus radio broadcasting products and services to potential grant providers, sponsors, and partners.
The chosen candidate will handle income generation, event planning and scheduling, and branding initiatives for both the station and the university. Responsibilities
- Promote the campus radio station and its productions and services to prospective sponsors, partners, and grant providers
- Create and plan an events calendar focused on revenue generation
- Generate financial income for the radio station
- Contribute to the branding efforts of the university and the radio station
- Execute other relevant duties assigned by management
Requirements
- Hold an Honours Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Radio, Television, Film, Communication, Journalism, or Media Studies with a 2.1 class or better
- Possess at least one year of professional experience in a broadcasting or marketing environment
