Job Description

LightForce is a digital orthodontics company. Its platform relies on 3D-printed brackets tailored to each patient, backed by AI-based treatment planning, to help practices work more efficiently and to make treatment outcomes more predictable. The company is hiring a Marketing Operations and Events Manager for the Boston area, and the posting says Boston-based candidates are preferred.

The role is the operational side of LightForce's global marketing function. It converts creative direction into schedules that name owners, deadlines and linked tasks, keeps track of work in flight, and flags risks before they become problems. Core areas are event execution for NSM and AAO conferences, trade shows, clinical training and customer-facing programs, including budgets, vendors, logistics, lead capture and ROI reporting. The manager also coordinates across commercial, clinical and product teams, and improves the company's CRM and project management tools. Anyone taking the job should expect a small, high-output team that depends on careful follow-through.

The posting asks for at least eight years of relevant experience in marketing, marketing operations, administration or marketing events. A bachelor's degree in marketing or communications is listed, or equivalent core work experience. The job is full-time, and the listed benefits apply to US employees.

Responsibilities

  • Run strategic events and programs from start to finish, covering NSM and AAO conferences, trade shows, clinical training and customer programs
  • Own budgets, suppliers, logistics and schedules for events
  • Set common planning methods and follow-up routines for every program
  • Keep lead intake, tracking and follow-up after events uniform
  • Share ROI, pipeline and results from each program
  • Maintain one consolidated view of all active marketing work
  • Oversee transitions between marketing, commercial, clinical and product groups
  • Keep leadership informed about progress, risks and outcomes
  • Act as the central link between the commercial team and senior leaders, and break down silos
  • Push for wider use and better setup of CRM and project-tracking software, and reduce manual tracking
  • Put the tracking of initiatives, schedules and results in one central place

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing or communications, or comparable experience gained on the job
  • At least eight years of relevant experience in marketing, marketing operations, administration or marketing events
  • Resourceful, organized and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, trustworthy and punctual, with a team-player attitude
  • Hands-on and can-do approach, with a commitment to high-end, polished event experiences
