Responsibilities
- Design plastic and aluminum die-cast components and assemblies for an industrial weld controller
- Create and modify components and sub-assemblies for weld controllers
- Develop concepts and detailed designs based on project and system specifications
- Select standard mechanical elements and interface with electronics and software
- Generate manufacturing and assembly drawings adhering to design standards
- Conduct thermal simulations and perform heat sink calculations
- Handle database management and build bills of materials in SAP
- Perform engineering calculations and complete documentation
Requirements
- Have 8 to 14 years of experience
- Proficiency with Creo, Autodesk Inventor, and PDM
