Green Fuel is hiring a full-time, on-site Networks & Cybersecurity Engineer to maintain a reliable, secure technology environment. The person in this position will administer corporate endpoints, networks, cloud services, servers, and business applications, while providing responsive support to users. This hands-on, operational role focuses on minimizing cyber risks, preventing system downtime, and enhancing service quality. Key duties include managing network infrastructure, deploying defense controls, handling vulnerability remediation, leading incident response, and ensuring safe adoption of automation and AI tools. This opportunity suits an IT professional experienced in system administration, cybersecurity defense, and infrastructure support within a multi-department organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and hybrid-cloud environments like AWS or Azure
- Administer core routing and switching protocols, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN segmentation
- Track network uptime, capacity, and performance to reduce disruptions
- Maintain vulnerability registers, perform access reviews, and carry out technical risk assessments
- Oversee backup security, disaster recovery readiness, and ransomware resilience
- Deploy and manage firewalls, VPNs, NAC, and intrusion detection systems
- Implement Zero Trust frameworks, multi-factor authentication, and EDR or XDR endpoint protection
- Monitor SIEM solutions to analyze logs and detect suspicious traffic
- Lead forensic investigations and mitigation during malware, phishing, or cyberattacks
- Deliver first- and second-line IT support for hardware, software, and collaboration tools
Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on IT infrastructure and user support experience
- At least 1 to 2 years of substantial cybersecurity responsibilities
- Experience administering corporate networks, firewalls, Windows and Linux systems, identity services, and backups
- Practical background in responding to security alerts, hardening systems, applying patches, and remediating vulnerabilities
- Experience supporting users across multiple departments
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience with cloud security in Azure, AWS, or Microsoft 365
- Data Protection Officer qualification
- Familiarity with operational technology or industrial environments
- Advanced networking or cybersecurity certifications
- Previous industrial, factory, or multi-site work background
