Pawlicy Advisor seeks an Onboarding Specialist to join its remote team in the United States. In this full-time role, the individual will report to the Head of Customer Success and Sales. The company operates a venture-backed marketplace connecting pet owners with financial protection options like pet insurance, aiming to reduce financial barriers to veterinary care. The position focuses on guiding newly signed veterinary partner clinics through setup, training, and activation primarily via high-volume phone communications.
This phone-first position involves managing numerous accounts simultaneously and conducting over forty calls daily. Successful candidates must be comfortable with continuous verbal outreach, maintaining accurate records in internal CRM platforms, and traveling to veterinary conferences several times a year. The compensation includes a base salary between $65,000 and $85,000 per year, accompanied by bonus potential, startup equity, and comprehensive health benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage over 200 phone conversations weekly, completing more than 40 calls per day
- Conduct live onboarding sessions with every new clinic partner within the initial 30 days
- Answer veterinary teams via email and phone on the same day
- Update and maintain internal CRM records daily using Custify and Pipedrive
- Travel to 10 to 15 veterinary conferences annually to manage booths, meet clinic staff, and initiate onboarding
- Drive partner activation by ensuring accounts are set up, teams are trained, and materials are utilized
- Introduce the integrated partner program to eligible accounts and guide interested participants through implementation
- Hand off successfully started accounts to the Customer Success team and report common partner challenges back to the organization
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in a high-volume calling environment handling 40 plus calls a day
- Ability to travel to 10 to 15 conferences per year, lasting two to four days each
- Comfort working remotely within the United States and managing individual work rhythm
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Qualifications
- Prior customer, client, or patient onboarding or implementation experience
- Background in upselling or recommending services and products
- Experience working in a veterinary clinic, preferably as a Certified or Registered Veterinary Technician or practice manager
- Trade show, conference, or in-person event experience
- Familiarity with pet insurance, Custify, Pipedrive, or Aircall
