Job Description
Apollo.io is a go-to-market platform for sales and marketing teams. It supplies verified contact information for more than 210 million business contacts and 35 million companies, and provides tools to reach and convert them in a single system. Founded in 2015 and reported to serve over 500,000 customers, the business ranks among the faster-growing software firms. This remote, full-time Partner Development Manager role targets the agencies, consultancies and solution providers in Apollo's network, a group in which thousands have shown interest but much of the potential remains unrealized.
The position owns the complete path from first contact to first revenue-generating activation. The manager finds candidates from inbound applications, customer referrals, market research and nominations, scores each one against the Ideal Partner Profile before committing significant time, and labels each partner by segment: RevOps, lead generation, sales training, AI-native or headless go-to-market, or general marketing agency. The manager also distinguishes a partner with real commitment to Apollo from one that is merely curious.
Partners who clear screening move through Apollo's certification track and onboarding, and the manager helps them shape a concrete offer, referral process or service delivery model. Partners are then coached for their first real customer discussion. The target is a first measurable outcome: a referral that qualifies, an opportunity registered in the system, or a managed account. Progress is recorded on an activation plan that partners can view too.
The manager keeps a steady rhythm with roughly 40 to 60 partners simultaneously and determines the next move for each: advancement into the named-partner (PAM) program, transition to scaled automated nurturing, or lower priority. The posting calls this a builder's position because the activation process is still being designed. The manager also collaborates with Partner Operations on data accuracy and reporting, and coordinates with Partner Marketing on campaigns aimed at particular segments and recruiting.
