Tamara is seeking a Partner Onboarding Advisor to join its team on a full-time, on-site basis. Tamara operates as a prominent fintech company in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region, providing reliable financial solutions to over 25 million customers and more than 130,000 partner merchants across various sectors including retail, travel, education, and healthcare. The organization receives backing from major investors such as Sanabil Investments, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, and SNB Capital.

In this position, the professional manages the entire merchant onboarding lifecycle from beginning to end for assigned accounts. Core duties center on maintaining high accuracy, adhering to service level agreements, and delivering a seamless onboarding experience. The individual handles Know Your Business verifications, compliance procedures, fraud screenings, integration coordination, and merchant activation to ensure readiness for go-live. Daily tasks involve working through support queues, managing tickets, documenting all decisions internally, and conducting proactive outbound calls to address pending requirements, unblock progress, and boost conversion rates.

This role suits individuals who possess a background in operations, customer operations, compliance, or process-driven environments, and who feel comfortable working with audit-ready documentation and CRM platforms. Successful candidates excel at managing communication channels, coordinating with internal teams such as Risk and Integrations, and resolving blockers efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned merchant cases from intake through the activation and go-live stages
  • Monitor support queues, action tickets promptly, and document all decisions in internal notes
  • Make proactive follow-up calls to merchants regarding pending requirements, missing documents, or contract signatures
  • Validate submitted documents such as trade licenses, identity papers, IBANs, and VAT certificates for validity and consistency
  • Perform compliance and fraud checks while escalating exception cases through defined pathways
  • Coordinate with internal departments including Integrations and Risk to resolve merchant blockers
  • Process and validate KYB information updates for existing merchants to ensure compliance

Requirements

  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system for case management
  • Familiarity with KYB, KYC, screening, and risk workflows
  • Comfort working with checklists, evidence, and audit-ready documentation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage queues and prioritize tasks based on SLAs and impact
  • Clear written communication and professional stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in working in English
