Responsibilities
- Answer questions from patients regarding treatment steps, logistics, and upcoming procedures
- Resolve issues concerning refunds, scheduling, shipping logistics, and care coordination
- Monitor patients throughout their treatment path and perform timely follow-ups
- Document, check, and report insurance eligibility details
- Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system while complying with privacy and HIPAA rules
- Handle multiple tasks reliably while communicating effectively with patients and colleagues
Requirements
- Healthcare background in a clinical or patient-facing role such as a medical assistant, patient care advocate, or certified nursing assistant
- One or more years of experience working in abortion care
- Ability to work remote shifts on Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM ET
