Wise is seeking a Payment Operations Regional Senior Specialist to join its Payment Operations Regional team with a primary focus on Service Delivery in Hyderabad. In this on-site role, the selected candidate will help maintain and enhance operational excellence for India, support scalable and reliable operations, advance continuous improvement initiatives, and meet service level agreements to ensure customer satisfaction. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational processes, supporting product features, and managing issues and crises.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously on initiatives. Responsibilities include executing recurring regional tasks, tracking key performance metrics, investigating domain-related issues, leading process enhancements, conducting risk assessments, and mentoring team members. Candidates must be flexible with working hours to coordinate with international teams across different time zones.
Responsibilities
- Execute recurring regional tasks consistently to ensure top performance
- Support the team in achieving key performance metrics and service level agreements
- Meet and exceed individual SLAs and KPIs
- Investigate, resolve, and escalate domain-related issues promptly
- Act as the first level escalation point for cases and crises
- Collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex problems and communicate effectively
- Lead process enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate risk assessments and mitigation efforts for products and processes
- Train and mentor new and existing specialists
Requirements
- Possess excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Show flexibility with working hours to collaborate with teams in different time zones
- Define priorities based on data and customer needs
- Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering impactful projects independently with high accuracy
- Understand operational risks and proactively mitigate them
Qualifications
- Relevant experience working in operations and support involving cross-functional projects that drive efficiency and scaling of manual work
