Job Description

Twilio is hiring a remote Principal, R&D Strategy & Operations to guide strategic initiatives and oversee executive communications for the Product and Engineering divisions. The role is suited for an experienced professional capable of steering high-impact programs end to end, collaborating with finance and data teams to automate reporting metrics, and establishing lean processes across a decentralized organization. The company provides competitive compensation packages, healthcare benefits, retirement savings programs, and wellness leave.

  • Establish and promote lean processes to minimize manual oversight
  • Work alongside finance and data departments to automate business and product metric reporting
  • Drive change management initiatives to boost process adoption throughout a decentralized R&D structure

Requirements

  • Over 10 years of professional background spanning product, engineering, and program or process management
  • Leadership expertise gained either through direct management or influence
  • Demonstrated history of leading product operations or programs within B2B SaaS or PaaS environments
  • Proven track record of executing complex, highly cross-functional programs from start to finish
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to distill intricate details into executive narratives
  • Capacity to establish trust across organizational divides and handle ambiguous, fast-moving environments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Master degree in Computer Science, engineering, or business administration
  • Direct history of spearheading change management initiatives within B2B SaaS settings

Core Skills

Benefits

  • Competitive pay rates with potential eligibility for corporate bonus and equity plans
  • Generous paid time off, sick time, and personal time off
  • Ample parental and wellness leave
