This full-time on-site accounts payable role at SGS in the Philippines processes purchase order and non-PO invoices, resolves invoice exceptions and supports the month-end close. The accountant performs reconciliations, records accruals and maintains audit trails. The role also helps with ERP testing and process documentation.
Responsibilities
- Review, verify and process PO-based invoices, including manual matching, and non-PO invoices with proper coding.
- Monitor and resolve invoice exceptions, blocked invoices and payment issues.
- Perform accounts payable, accrual and supplier balance reconciliations and record related journal entries.
- Keep audit trails complete and support internal and external audits.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.
- Two to four years of experience in accounting, accounts payable or procure-to-pay functions.
- Strong ERP experience, preferably with Oracle.
Qualifications
- Experience in a shared services or multinational environment is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite is nice to have.
