CMB, a custom market research and strategy firm located in Boston, Massachusetts, is looking for a Product Manager, AI Solutions to join the Applied Innovation team. This full-time position is available remotely within the United States or as a hybrid role in Boston.
The person in this role will primarily focus on Intelligent Signals, CMB's proprietary AI-driven market intelligence platform. Responsibilities include defining product requirements, steering the roadmap, shaping go-to-market strategies, and helping scale the platform from its initial client deployment into a broader commercial offering. The Product Manager will also allocate a portion of their time to supporting broader AI product management initiatives across the organization.
This position is well-suited for a professional who thrives in ambiguous environments and can effectively bridge the gap between technical potential and business value. The candidate will work closely with the VP of Applied Innovation, the Product Development and Innovation team, Sales, Client Services, and external development partners. Ideal candidates bring experience in product management for B2B analytics or insights tools, familiarity with artificial intelligence applications, and a strong track record of cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary product owner and point of contact for the Intelligent Signals platform's features, roadmap, and market alignment
- Translate client needs into concrete functional requirements and prioritize the product backlog against short-term and long-term objectives
- Define and monitor success metrics tracking user adoption, satisfaction, output quality, revenue, renewals, and profit margins
- Partner with the VP of Applied Innovation to establish the product strategy, vision, and roadmap
- Lead go-to-market execution alongside Practice Leaders and Account Directors to build demos, pitch materials, and proposal content
- Design onboarding, configuration, and support workflows to transition the platform from a single deployment to a scalable product
- Represent client and market requirements to technical leads and third-party development partners
- Support product management tasks across the wider portfolio of company offerings
Requirements
- Possess three to five years of product management or product ownership experience
- Demonstrate a background in taking products to market, ideally focusing on B2B data, analytics, or insights solutions
- Have experience defining product requirements, handling backlogs, and shaping roadmaps with sales and client teams
- Show experience supporting go-to-market functions such as client demonstrations and sales enablement
- Bring familiarity with artificial intelligence capabilities such as natural language processing or large language model-based agents
- Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, computer science, or a related field
- Have prior exposure to data pipelines, system integrations, or APIs
- Bring experience working with multi-tenant or configurable software products
