Responsibilities
- Manage the complete vision, strategy, and roadmap for Workload Connectivity areas including Kubernetes, agent connectivity, ephemeral workloads, and cloud integrations
- Establish the end-to-end developer experience spanning authentication, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Lead the Kubernetes operator roadmap while setting reference architectures and cloud-native connectivity integrations
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to design pricing and packaging that accelerates adoption and revenue
- Monitor success metrics related to workload adoption, activation, retention, and revenue to guide future product investments
- Engage directly with developers, platform engineers, and infrastructure teams to gather deep customer insights
- Coordinate with other product teams on shared foundations covering identity, access controls, networking, and developer tools
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of product management experience overseeing developer-facing infrastructure products such as Kubernetes tooling, cloud platforms, or CI/CD systems
- Technical fluency encompassing cloud-native infrastructure, containers, networking, workload identity, and infrastructure automation
- Demonstrated history of building offerings targeted at developers and platform engineers with a strong understanding of APIs and documentation
- Proven capability to manage a product area from initial strategy and roadmap through launch, adoption, and business impact
- Commercial judgment capable of translating technical capabilities into distinct products and sustainable revenue streams
- Experience interacting directly with advanced technical users and directing cross-functional teams through ambiguous situations
Qualifications
- Familiarity with usage-based pricing models for developer infrastructure products
- Hands-on background utilizing Tailscale, specifically regarding Kubernetes or machine-to-machine connectivity
- Demonstrated activity through public technical writing, conference speaking engagements, or open-source contributions
