The product team at Decile Group seeks a full-time QA Engineer to establish and own quality across Decile Hub and Start Fund. This remote position involves building autonomous testing systems, creating release checks, and preventing issues before they impact fund managers or limited partners.
The ideal professional for this role is proactive from the first day, capable of building AI-driven test agents, and skilled at classic quality assurance methodologies. The position suits an individual who can connect directly with customers, analyze support tickets, and anticipate friction points in onboarding and login pathways without waiting for explicit instructions.
Responsibilities
- Predict and prevent product issues prior to feature deployment
- Design and maintain AI-powered agents for automated regression testing and risk flagging
- Examine support tickets and shadow customer calls to translate user confusion into test cases
- Manage and verify onboarding, authentication, document signing, and capital call flows
- Develop structured test plans, handle bug tracking, triage issues, and conduct release checks
- Collaborate directly with engineering, product, and customer success teams to report risks early
Requirements
- Live and work within a few time zones of Pacific time in California
- Actively build and work with AI agents rather than solely using chat applications
- Demonstrate the ability to manage end-to-end product quality independently
- Engage closely with customers through calls, support tickets, and onboarding sessions to inform testing
- Bring at least 5 years of professional experience in QA, test engineering, or a comparable SaaS role
- Possess hands-on background in test automation for web applications
- Write clear bug reports that communicate reproduction steps to engineers
Qualifications
- Background in venture capital, fund administration, or financial compliance workflows
- Familiarity working with Ruby on Rails applications
- Experience testing user onboarding, identity verification, or payment transaction flows
