Job Description

This remote, full-time position at Rubrik is a senior leadership role for the Central region of the United States. The Regional Manager, Channel Central will set the channel sales plan for the territory, grow revenue through regional and national partners, and build a team of Channel Development Managers.

The job combines regional strategy with people leadership. The person will recruit, coach and develop channel managers, hold them to clear standards, and foster a culture of accountability and high performance. They are also responsible for the region's revenue targets and for building joint pipeline with partner organizations.

Much of the work involves relationships at the top of partner companies. The role calls for building trust with executives at regional and national partners, keeping Rubrik a priority vendor for them, and linking partner plans with Field Sales account plans. The Regional Manager also directs regional development funds and enablement budgets, aiming for measurable return.

The posting asks for a seasoned channel or alliances leader with a background in channel sales or alliances across security, data, cloud or subscription software. Strong forecasting habits and regular business reviews are part of the job, along with close work with engineering, alliances, marketing and sales operations teams. The company describes itself as a security and AI operations business whose products cover data, identities, workloads and AI agents.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run a channel go-to-market plan for the Central region to lift revenue, widen market share and raise partner output
  • Forge close ties with senior leaders at regional and national partners so Rubrik remains a preferred vendor
  • Coordinate with the Central sales leadership team so channel plans line up with enterprise accounts, joint account maps and field engagement
  • Hire, coach and grow CDM staff, with an emphasis on accountability and performance
  • Drive the team toward monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals, serving as executive sponsor on major deals
  • Direct regional MDF and enablement budgets toward measurable ROI and partner loyalty
  • Put in place disciplined forecasting, pipeline analytics and quarterly business reviews
  • Coordinate colleagues across technical, marketing and operations functions so partners get support for joint selling and deal registration

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of steady progress in enterprise IT channel or partnership work, in security, data, cloud or subscription software
  • At least five years of hands-on people management, leading channel sales staff such as CDMs or CAMs
  • Consistent results beating large regional revenue quotas and growing partner income
  • Expertise in partner business models, go-to-market planning, target account selling and consultative selling
  • Clear, confident communication that influences partner executives and internal leaders
  • Working knowledge of how Central US partners operate, such as value-added resellers, managed service providers and integrators

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree is a plus, ideally in business, marketing or computer science, though equivalent hands-on experience also counts
  • Demonstrated alignment with Rubrik's core values, including cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking and an inclusive team culture
