Job Description
This is a full-time remote opening in clinical business operations at Global Channel Management, Inc. The person works across departments on contracting paperwork, record-keeping and process refinement. Clinical operations experience is viewed very positively, and the role fits someone who is at ease with software tools and sees openings to streamline work.
A major share of the duties concerns contracts. The specialist helps draft and execute Confidential Disclosure Agreements, records signed deals in an electronic document store, and confirms that outsourcing choices are logged in a compliant manner that an auditor could review.
Operational problems also fall to this role. The specialist handles issues at the day-to-day level, raises them with senior leaders when warranted, and cooperates with clinical groups, finance and legal staff to improve solutions, workflows and communication. Analytical thinking, organization, precision with details and a grasp of finance matter, as does juggling several priorities at a quick pace whether working alone or in a group.
Applicants should be proficient with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint, plus Smartsheet, a contract repository product and MS Project. Clear written and spoken communication and presentation ability are also expected.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders inside and outside the company to draft and execute Confidential Disclosure Agreements.
- Record contracts in an electronic document store.
- Log outsourcing decisions so they meet compliance expectations and can be audited.
- Handle day-to-day escalations and bring serious items to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, finance and legal colleagues on fixes and workflow improvements.
- Find and act on opportunities to work more efficiently.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with two years of experience, or five years of equivalent experience.
- Sharp analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Dependable output in a rapid, changing environment while balancing competing priorities.
- Capable of working on a team or alone on assigned work.
- Methodical, meticulous and comfortable with financial matters.
- Strong spoken and written communication plus presentation skills.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), Smartsheet, a contract repository product and MS Project.
Qualifications
- Background in clinical ops, project coordination or outsourced clinical work, or with a CRO or comparable provider.
