SGS is hiring a Remote Inspector (Mandarin) for a full-time, remote position. This role involves carrying out remote assessments utilizing SGS QiiQ technology while strictly adhering to all relevant guidelines, such as the Inspection Job Order, Initial Assessment Form, and Quality System procedures. The successful candidate will verify that all necessary details for evaluations are complete, perform assessments efficiently upon request, and deliver results using the designated TFS Inspection Report form. Additionally, the role requires uploading reports on time to eTrade and remote SharePoint, managing risks following provided guidelines, safeguarding company tools, and aiding the PCA team.

Responsibilities
- Perform remote inspections using SGS QiiQ technology
- Verify the completeness of all data provided for assessments
- Comply with the inspector handout, contract instructions, IAF, and IJO
- Submit standard TFS Inspection Report forms on time via eTrade and remote SharePoint
- Communicate any identified risks to the Inspection Coordinator
- Use company-provided materials and tools with care
- Notify the Inspection Coordinator of any procedural deviations
- Assist PCA operations in advancing remote assessments
- Complete additional remote inspection tasks assigned by the local TFS office
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience performing inspections, or relevant product industry and technician knowledge
- University degree
- Fluent in English
- Ability to comply with SGS standards of ethics and integrity
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Chinese languages such as Mandarin or Hokkien
- Knowledge of a specific product industry or professional level experience
