Job Description
ABC Legal Services is seeking a remote, full-time recruiter to grow its network of process servers. This person finds and engages two groups: working legal process servers, and people who want to begin serving legal papers as flexible gig workers. Because recruiting at this company never really stops, the recruiter is expected to keep adjusting approaches as market conditions and regional coverage needs change across the country.
On a typical day, the recruiter contacts candidates by calls, texts and emails, often at volume, and coordinates with the internal sourcing staff. Screening covers reliability, credentials and suitability. The recruiter also explains the independent contractor arrangement to applicants, keeps prospect records in the company's applicant tracking or CRM software, measures results against recruiting KPIs, and gives hiring managers regular updates on new hires and where the pipeline stands.
Success is judged against a monthly onboarding target for each recruiter's assigned states, with extra attention on the counties where coverage is thinnest. The company also wants new servers moved quickly from initial contact to being onboarded and accepting assignments, with follow-up to keep them from falling inactive.
ABC Legal Services presents itself as a leading national provider of service of process, headquartered in Seattle with offices in several US cities including Los Angeles, Chicago and Phoenix. It reports roughly 1,000 staff and says it has worked in this field for more than three decades, investing steadily in technology and operational improvements. The posted pay is USD 50,000 to 55,000 a year depending on experience, with a Monday to Friday schedule running 8am to 5pm CST.
