This full-time, on-site research role in Bengaluru at Bosch focuses on generative AI and deep learning for computer vision, including defect detection, anomaly detection and synthetic data generation. The engineer runs experiments and prototypes, builds monitoring for data drift in deployed inspection models, and moves validated methods toward production.
Responsibilities
- Design generative AI approaches, such as diffusion models and GANs, to create synthetic image datasets.
- Develop and evaluate deep learning models for defect detection, anomaly detection and segmentation.
- Build methods to monitor deployed models for data drift and performance degradation.
- Run controlled experiments and ablation studies, and turn research into production-ready components.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant professional or applied research experience in computer vision, deep learning or generative AI.
- Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning and computer vision fundamentals.
- Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with PyTorch.
Qualifications
- A PhD, MS or M.Tech from a top Indian or foreign institute in computer science, AI, machine learning, electrical engineering or a related field.
