Responsibilities
- Convert customer requirements into robust mechanical designs for steering components
- Review 3D models, 2D drawings and engineering documents
- Own assigned components through design, validation support and engineering changes
- Mentor junior engineers and drive value engineering initiatives
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant mechanical design or development experience
- Preferably 3+ years in automotive steering or chassis systems
- Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, materials and DFMA
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as CATIA, Creo, NX or SolidWorks
Qualifications
- B.E or B.Tech in mechanical engineering, or M.E or M.Tech
- Good leadership and problem-solving skills
