Deloitte is seeking an SAP Cloud Integration (CI) DevOps Engineer to join its integration team. This position focuses approximately 70 percent of the time on operations and 30 percent on development, taking day-to-day technical ownership of integration solutions after project handover. The successful candidate will manage SAP CI solutions that link SAP S/4HANA with various business applications, ensuring production reliability while implementing minor enhancements and change requests.
Daily duties include monitoring integration flows, diagnosing and resolving standard incidents, building and modifying integration flows, and managing solution-specific credentials and certificates. The professional will collaborate closely with platform teams, project groups, application owners, and business stakeholders, while also maintaining technical documentation and sharing SAP CI knowledge through teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and enhance SAP Cloud Integration solutions following project handover
- Monitor integration flows, analyze message processing, and resolve standard incidents
- Develop and modify standard SAP CI integration flows using required protocols and technologies
- Create and adjust XML/JSON transformations and XPath expressions
- Manage solution-specific certificates, credentials, and configurations to maintain security and compliance
- Promote integration artifacts across environments using SAP Cloud Transport Management
- Monitor platform health and integration runtime metrics within the SAP Business Technology Platform
- Maintain technical and operational documentation regarding troubleshooting procedures and solution knowledge
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on SAP Cloud Integration experience
- Demonstrated SAP CI development background including building and modifying standard integration flows
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA integrations in production environments
- Practical background in taking over and maintaining approved solutions post-handover
- Ability to configure integrations using required protocols and technologies
- Proficiency in creating and adjusting XML/JSON transformations and XPath expressions
- Familiarity with Java, JSON, XML, REST/SOAP, and integration solutions such as API, ETL, or ESB
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Relevant SAP certifications in Cloud Integration or Integration Suite
