Pindrop is hiring a Senior Engineer, Cloud Operations for a remote contract position through Alcor BPO. The cloud engineering group builds and maintains reliable, automated, scalable, and observable infrastructure to allow product developers to create global solutions efficiently.

The position requires designing and scaling multi-cloud platforms, automating manual workflows, troubleshooting platform stability issues, and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure and services across multiple regions and zones
- Own and evolve key components of the software-as-a-service platform running on AWS and GCP
- Manage, improve, and scale observability stacks and operational workflows
- Analyze platform stability, performance, and usability issues to propose long-term solutions
- Automate manual workflows and bottlenecks into reliable, measurable systems
- Drive multiple initiatives concurrently while collaborating cross-team to establish best practices
- Mature engineering processes from ad-hoc procedures to repeatable, documented methodologies
- Improve cloud component scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related cloud-focused roles
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating large-scale automated cloud systems across multiple regions and availability zones in AWS and GCP
- Practical experience with container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes such as EKS and GKE, alongside service mesh technologies
- Strong background in observability systems utilized for alerting, monitoring, and performance analysis
- Experience building and optimizing centralized logging pipelines for large-scale systems
- Prior on-call experience encompassing incident response, troubleshooting, and system administration
- Proficiency with deployment and infrastructure tooling such as Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD, Flux, and Istio
- Strong scripting capabilities in Bash, Python, and/or TypeScript
- Hands-on background with CI/CD ecosystems and tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, covering high-availability design, debugging, and query optimization
