The organization is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to bridge financial data and commercial execution, reporting directly to the Director of FP&A. This position suits an analytical professional experienced in financial modeling and forecasting within transaction-based or SaaS business models who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
In this capacity, the incoming specialist will advise internal stakeholders on resource allocation, evaluate unit economics, build operational dashboards, and contribute to executive-level reporting alongside the VP of Finance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with departments such as GTM and Operations to provide guidance on commercial strategy and investment optimization
- Analyze key metrics including gross merchandise volume, take rate, customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, net revenue retention, and churn
- Assist in developing business cases for product expansion, pricing strategies, and new market launches
- Contribute to board-level reporting and strategic narratives alongside finance leadership
- Evolve planning models and design management dashboards to aid strategic decisions
- Represent the FP&A team in cross-functional projects and mentor team members
Requirements
- Proficiency in FP&A fundamentals including financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning
- Experience working with SaaS, payments, or transaction-based business models
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear narratives for non-finance audiences
- Capability to manage stakeholder relationships and work effectively amid ambiguity and evolving tools like Pigment
