The initial project for this full-time position involves creating a loan origination system for a financial services enterprise, collaborating with experienced team leads and product specialists.
This opportunity suits software engineers with a strong foundation in computer science and continuous delivery who wish to expand their skills using modern technology stacks. Team members operate within an Agile environment, contributing across the entire application architecture from persistence layers to user interfaces, while maintaining client confidentiality and upholding professional integrity.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary of 140000 dollars paired with a 21000 dollar standard bonus at plan, totaling 161000 dollars. The total compensation structure also features quarterly individual performance-based cash incentives and combined annual cash incentives. Ten Mile Square Technologies covers full medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums for employees and their families, along with complete individual short-term and long-term disability coverage. Additional offerings include a 3 percent company contribution to a 401(k), 15 days of paid time off that increases annually up to 20 days, 10 training days per year, 8 company holidays, 2 personal days, and public transit reimbursement. Please note that this position does not support corporation-to-corporation arrangements or visa sponsorship, and candidates must be based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Design and build a loan origination system utilizing Node, Apollo GraphQL, Angular, Camunda, and AWS components
- Develop backend systems and front-end components as needed
- Collaborate with technology leads and the product team to establish functional requirements
- Contribute as an active member of an Agile team and promote Agile practices
- Engage in proactive collaboration and knowledge sharing with team members
- Represent the firm with expertise, value, and integrity while maintaining client confidentiality
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience
- At least 2 years of experience working with TypeScript and Node
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with GraphQL
- At least 1 year of experience developing and deploying on AWS
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Working knowledge of Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Experience across the full application stack from front-end to persistence
- Experience spanning the full software lifecycle from requirements to post-implementation
- Familiarity with the Linux command line
- Ability to work remotely while based in the United States
- Availability for full-time employment without corporation-to-corporation arrangements
