CoinsPaid is seeking a Senior Golang Engineer to join its remote engineering brand, Coinspaid Dev. With over a decade of industry expertise and a team exceeding 120 engineers, the organization builds distributed systems and blockchain infrastructure spanning more than 20 blockchain networks. This fully remote position focuses exclusively on backend development, resolving complex algorithmic challenges within the fintech sector while operating inside an isolated, secure infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will design robust, scalable Golang applications, collaborate closely with quality assurance specialists, and conduct thorough code reviews. Team members participate in technical discussions, maintain product stability utilizing monitoring tools, and communicate effectively regarding product goals and technical directions. Responsibilities
- Write robust, scalable, and reusable Golang code according to project specifications
- Cover code with unit tests and collaborate with QA engineers to maintain high quality
- Perform code reviews and assist teammates in resolving technical problems
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure stable product operation through monitoring, metrics, and alerts
- Develop applications for an isolated infrastructure while adhering to security standards
- Solve complex algorithmic problems specifically within the backend and fintech domain
- Communicate clearly with the team regarding product goals and technical direction
- Promote knowledge sharing across the engineering team
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience using Golang as a primary working language
- 5+ years of overall software development experience
- Experience with message queues such as Kafka, NSQ, NATS, or RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines including ArgoCD and GitLab
- Experience working with MySQL or similar database systems
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation
- Experience working within Scrum methodologies
- Understanding of software observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Opsgenie
Qualifications
- Experience in training and onboarding engineers
- Skilled in assessing technical skills via code reviews and peer evaluations
- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level developers with coaching, feedback, and career growth support
