The company is seeking its first Senior GTM AI Engineer to join the revenue organization as a software engineer. This role involves building production software systems, internal tools, pipelines, and autonomous agents designed to optimize go-to-market strategies, sales prospecting, customer relationship management hygiene, and product usage tracking. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in software engineering, a curiosity about sales operations, and comfort with being the sole owner of this functional domain.
Day-to-day work centers on writing Python services, SQL models, and scheduled jobs while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to ship solutions rapidly. The engineer will design agentic workflows for account research, lead qualification, and outreach drafting, alongside turning product usage data from BigQuery and Looker into actionable signals for sales representatives. This position is suited for a low-ego builder who prefers an iterative, high-impact environment without heavy administrative planning or multi-layered bureaucracy.
Responsibilities
- Write Python services, SQL models, scheduled jobs, and small internal applications daily.
- Build and maintain autonomous agents for account research, lead qualification, outreach drafting, CRM hygiene, and usage monitoring.
- Transform product usage data from BigQuery and Looker into trigger signals, usage alerts, and account health scores for sales teams.
- Develop account targeting pipelines that handle sourcing, data enrichment, deduplication, and ICP scoring.
- Integrate existing tools like CRMs, enrichment providers, and outbound platforms to automate data flow.
- Maintain sales funnel data integrity through routing rules, field governance, and attribution systems.
- Prototype rapidly, measure functional performance, iterate, and collaborate with sales and marketing leadership.
- Document built systems to ensure continuous operation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer, data engineer, or growth/GTM engineer shipping production systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Demonstrated ownership of production automations from end to end, including APIs, webhooks, scheduled jobs, retries, error handling, and monitoring.
- Experience building multi-step LLM applications such as agents, tool use, retrieval systems, and evaluations.
- Daily use of AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code with the engineering judgment to review and test outputs.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals including clean code, version control, code review, debugging, and systematic thinking.
- Curiosity about sales operations and willingness to learn the company CRM and related tools.
- Builder mindset with operator judgment focused on business impact and iterative shipping.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or other CRMs at the object and API level.
- Familiarity with enrichment and outbound tools such as Clay.
- Experience with dbt, BigQuery, Looker, or equivalent data warehouse and business intelligence stacks.
- Previous experience at a developer-facing or API-first company, or selling to technical buyers.
- Prior experience as the first engineer in a sales or growth organization building the function from scratch.
