Responsibilities
- Help the Chief Internal Auditor build the Annual Risk-Based Internal Audit plan with a focus on technology risks
- Determine audit scopes and manage processes for information technology evaluations
- Collaborate on creating ICT and IS audit plans and procedures aligned with professional guidelines
- Lead ICT and IS audit execution to deliver independent assessments of risk and control environments
- Assess general computing and information controls to supply feedback and recommendations
- Review management procedures and policies regarding information technology processes
- Build and deploy tools like SQL, ACL, and Excel queries for data analysis and risk assessments
- Conduct security audits on networks, operating systems, applications, and data centres
- Perform system implementation and enhancement reviews
- Draft audit reports and profile findings according to relevant audit standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent field
- Master’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent field
- Membership in a professional body such as ISACA, the Institute of Internal Auditors, or PAAB
- Four years of professional auditing experience
Qualifications
- Possession of or active progress toward a professional auditing qualification such as CISA, CIA, or CFE
