Job Description

Karbon sells AI-enabled practice management software to accounting firms. Its cloud platform is in daily use by accounting staff numbering in the tens of thousands across 40 countries, and the company has a globally distributed team that includes people in Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.

This remote, senior-level role helps the company's largest customers get set up, move their data over, roll out the platform and learn it. The implementer acts as project manager, consultant and change coach, working to get each firm to value quickly and to keep it using the platform over the long term.

The job involves running detailed project plans for enterprise accounts, leading kickoffs, configuration workshops and training, and advising on workflow design and firm operations. Responsibilities also include supporting imports of contacts and work items, catching early signs of slippage, coordinating handoffs with the Sales group, Customer Success, Product and Support staff, and using AI tools in planning and customer communications.

Applicants should bring three to five or more years of B2B SaaS implementation experience, at least two years of hands-on technical rollout work, and comfort running several customer projects at once. Accounting or tax industry experience is a bonus, as is knowledge of change management frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as project manager on enterprise implementations, maintaining plans and tracking milestones
  • Engage executive sponsors, firm admins and end users to agree on goals and roles
  • Run kickoffs, process reviews, configuration sessions and tailored training
  • Recommend workflow and operating practices to each firm
  • Help teams adapt to new processes and work through resistance
  • Support imports of contacts and work items using Excel and other tools, checking accuracy
  • Spot delays or adoption risks early and step in
  • Coordinate handoffs with the Sales group, Customer Success, Product and Support staff, and gather feedback
  • Demonstrate measurable value and return for each customer
  • Apply AI to planning, customer messaging and process improvement

Requirements

  • Three to five or more years in B2B SaaS implementations
  • Two or more years carrying technical rollouts from start to finish
  • Project management skill across several clients at once
  • Confidence leading workshops and executive discussions
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Consultative attitude: listens well and challenges assumptions
  • Careful, accurate and dependable follow-through
  • Comfort working with data and systems during migrations and configuration
  • Adaptable in fast-changing settings and self-managing while remote

Qualifications

  • Work history in accounting or tax settings
  • Comfort with tools for workflow automation, bookkeeping or project planning
  • Software onboarding or enterprise rollout background
  • Knowledge of change management frameworks
  • Time at a startup or a fast-scaling software company
  • Hands-on experience using Karbon
