Job Description
Motive is hiring a Senior Inventory Specialist for its Planning and Inventory team. The listing is marked remote, but it requires travel to the company's warehouse in Louisville, Kentucky at least once a week. The specialist connects what happens physically in the warehouse with the company's digital inventory records, handling transactions in NetSuite and in a third-party warehouse management system, referred to as 3PL WMS.
Daily work covers checking, reconciling and processing inbound purchase order receipts, put-aways, stock moves, returns and adjustments. The specialist serves as the everyday contact for third-party logistics providers, coordinating receiving, storage, fulfillment support, cycle counts and issue resolution. A major share of the role is keeping system stock and physical stock aligned, which involves chasing negative balances, phantom inventory, receiving discrepancies and entry errors. The specialist also watches 3PL service levels, supports corrective action plans, and writes up process improvements. Reliable stock figures feed the planning rhythm each week and month.
Applicants should bring three-plus years in stock control, supply operations, warehouse systems or 3PL work, having personally handled stock movements. Practical ERP background, ideally NetSuite, plus familiarity with one warehouse or 3PL platform, is needed. Strong spreadsheet skills in Excel or Google Sheets, plus basic SQL such as Snowflake queries, are valued. Knowledge of how ERP and warehouse software sync would be a strong asset. The base compensation range is $82,000 to $105,000 USD.

Requirements
- Three or more years in inventory, supply chain, warehouse systems or 3PL operations

- Experience matching system inventory to physical stock, including cycle counts
