Sword Health is looking for a remote Senior iOS Engineer to join its Consumer Growth team. The company develops an AI-driven healthcare platform combining physical therapy, women’s health, cardiometabolic care, and mental health into a continuous 24/7 program. In this role, the engineer will build features focused on user acquisition, onboarding, subscriptions, activation, and retention within the mobile application. The position requires collaborating closely with product managers, designers, data analysts, marketing personnel, and backend engineers to run experiments, implement purchase flows, and optimize app performance.
The ideal candidate possesses practical experience in native mobile development, strong product judgment, and familiarity with artificial intelligence tools to accelerate workflows. Sword Health expects all candidates to demonstrate baseline AI proficiency, ranging from daily productivity usage to building automated workflows or embedding AI into products. The compensation range for this position is 50,400 EUR to 79.200 EUR, inclusive of base salary, variable pay, and equity, with country-specific benefits detailed separately.
Responsibilities
- Design and enhance iOS functionalities encompassing onboarding, profile creation, paywalls, and subscription management.
- Link web campaigns and acquisition channels to specific application sections via Universal Links.
- Set up subscription purchase procedures, restoration options, and user entitlement handling alongside backend developers.
- Deploy controlled feature flag experiments with precise analytics tracking.
- Collaborate across product, design, and data departments to analyze user friction points and evaluate test results.
- Develop modular UI elements and foundational app architecture to facilitate rapid experimentation.
- Ensure application stability, responsiveness, and accessibility across all supported Apple devices and operating system releases.
- Manage features through every phase from coding and testing to deployment and ongoing iteration.
- Utilize AI utilities to speed up coding while rigorously reviewing generated scripts.
Requirements
- Experience launching and supporting production-grade iOS software
- Proficiency in Swift and interface creation utilizing SwiftUI
- Understanding of application lifecycles, iOS architecture, state management, and Swift concurrency
- Background in API integration and managing interrupted or failed user pathways
- Familiarity with performance analysis, debugging, memory management, and automated testing
- Capacity to instrument user journeys and leverage data for engineering choices
- Product awareness centered on interaction quality, user trust, and accessibility
- Cross-functional communication skills and end-to-end feature ownership
- Hands-on practice integrating AI into technical workflows while reviewing outputs
- Fluent written and spoken English proficiency
Qualifications
- Prior work with StoreKit, RevenueCat, or subscription frameworks
- Background in feature flags, A/B testing, privacy-compliant acquisition metrics, or Universal Links
- History of boosting conversion, retention, or user activation for consumer software
- Knowledge of UIKit integration, lifecycle engagement tools, and push notifications
