Reddit is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Systems Engineer for its ML Platform team, which builds the infrastructure behind recommendations, content discovery and ads ranking. The role designs governance tools that help ML engineers find and understand signals, and works on batch and streaming pipelines that process petabyte-scale data. It is a full-time, remote role in the United States, suited to a senior engineer with at least five years in the ML platform domain.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and operation of ML signal-governance tools covering ownership, lineage, quality and usage
- Build tools that help teams judge signal importance and make lifecycle decisions
- Work with ML engineers and cross-functional teams on governance workflows and signal metadata
- Design and operate batch and streaming pipelines across prediction logging and training data platforms
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in the ML platform domain
- Experience driving projects from requirements to production with cross-functional partners
- Experience with large-scale batch and streaming data processing
- Experience building production systems with testing, monitoring, observability and reliability practices
