Proxify AB is hiring a remote Senior Magento Developer to design and build enterprise-grade e-commerce platforms for clients. This position suits growth-oriented professionals who enjoy creating innovative products and growth features. The role requires crafting scalable solutions, shifting toward out-of-process extensibility, optimizing backend performance, and constructing cutting-edge frontends. Candidates will also integrate third-party systems, conduct code reviews, and guide mid-level developers.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Adobe Commerce solutions for cloud and on-premise environments
- Lead the transition from core overrides to out-of-process extensibility using Adobe App Builder and API-first methods
- Optimize backend performance, database queries, and caching strategies utilizing Redis, Varnish, and Fastly
- Develop and maintain advanced frontends with Hyvä, PWA Studio, or traditional Luma to achieve top-tier Core Web Vitals scores
- Build and oversee complex integrations with external ERP, CRM, and PIM platforms via RabbitMQ and Adobe I/O Events
- Perform code reviews, mentor mid-level team members, and uphold high standards for automated testing and test-driven development
Requirements
- At least 5 years of extensive experience with Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce, spanning B2B and Cloud editions
- Proficiency in PHP 8.x, MySQL, and search technologies like Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Adobe Live Search
- Expertise in REST APIs, GraphQL, and decoupled commerce architectures
- Strong background in Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, or React
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines, and Adobe Commerce Cloud
- Intermediate-advanced English proficiency
- Reside within the CET timezone, plus or minus three hours
