Dandy seeks a Senior Manager, Finance Operations to direct accounts payable, billing, and collections as a unified accounting-driven function. Operating in the dental technology sector, Dandy builds digital infrastructure for dental offices and manages extensive physical operations, including two US manufacturing facilities, international customers, multiple legal entities, and a large vendor network. This role takes end-to-end ownership of procure-to-pay and order-to-cash workflows, managing teams distributed across the United States, the Philippines, and Colombia.
The position requires a detail-oriented finance leader who ensures accounting accuracy from the initial transaction source through to the general ledger. Key responsibilities include enforcing compliance, building public company audit standards, managing treasury partnerships for multi-currency vendor payments, and automating workflows using NetSuite. The ideal candidate brings extensive operational finance experience and a builder mindset focused on documenting procedures, upgrading controls, and training staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete procure-to-pay lifecycle encompassing vendor setup, processing invoices, three-way PO matching, approvals, and payment executions
- Partner with Treasury to handle domestic and international vendor payments spanning multiple currencies and legal entities
- Oversee vendor master data quality alongside 1099 reporting
- Monitor billing precision, credit rules, and pricing policies for practice and DSO accounts
- Execute cash application and collection procedures, including structured workflows for major DSO accounts coordinated with Account Management
- Produce aging analyses and collection projections to support the bad debt reserve
- Establish and record public company audit-ready controls for procure-to-pay and order-to-cash, incorporating separation of duties
- Deliver AP and AR subledger reconciliations, accruals, and cut-off entries according to the financial close schedule
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during AP and AR testing
- Direct the AP, billing, and collections teams through standardized operating procedures, training programs, and quality reviews
- Automate invoice intake, authorization, and collection processes within NetSuite and associated platforms
- Track and report on performance metrics such as DSO, aged receivables, PO match rates, payment precision, and transaction costs
Requirements
- Over 8 years of professional experience including general ledger or public accounting
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, or shared finance services
- Practical understanding of how AP and AR transactions impact the general ledger, accrual accounting, and revenue
- Background working in an operational environment characterized by high transaction volumes such as manufacturing, distribution, healthcare services, or logistics
- Experience managing offshore or business process outsourcing teams across multiple time zones
- Demonstrated history of establishing internal controls and successfully navigating audits, preferably under SOX or PCAOB frameworks
- Experience handling multi-entity and multi-currency operations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities and proficiency with NetSuite or an equivalent enterprise resource planning system
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant designation
- Background in implementing accounts payable automation or billing software systems
- Industry exposure in healthcare, dental, or medical devices
- Familiarity with high-volume business-to-business or usage-based billing models
- Proficiency in the Spanish language
