Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior PMO Manager to work remotely throughout Germany on a long-term initiative focused on renewable energy and its distribution. Turner & Townsend is a global professional services firm employing around 22,000 people across more than 60 countries, specializing in program management, project management, and cost management for real estate, energy, natural resources, and infrastructure projects.
In this key position, the postholder will direct the central coordination of the project management office and act as the main point of contact for organizational project governance. This role suits an experienced professional with a background in complex project environments who can lead up to two team members functionally, manage critical timelines and budgets, and engage with various stakeholders and committees.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall organizational direction of the project
- Oversee project controlling, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
- Monitor critical project milestones
- Handle risk management and escalation control
- Oversee stakeholder and governance management
- Prepare decision-making and management documentation
- Lead and coordinate workshops and project meetings
- Drive and further develop PMO processes and tools
- Provide functional leadership for up to two team members
- Collaborate with project leadership, sub-project leaders, and committees
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in complex project or program environments
- Background in a PMO environment
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Experience in governance and committee control
- Very strong knowledge of project controlling
- Fluent in German and English
