Job Description
Robinhood is hiring a Senior Product Manager for its Trading Tools team, based in New York, New York or Menlo Park, California, with office attendance expected three days a week. The team builds mobile research tools for active traders, including charts for individual assets, pages on each asset, a watchlist feature, portfolio review and the trading ladder.
The same team runs Say, a shareholder engagement business run by Robinhood, which lets investors put questions to companies on earnings calls and cast votes on their holdings. The product manager would set strategy and the roadmap for both, leading a cross-functional group of developers, designers and data analysts in shipping quality mobile releases.
Responsibilities include helping traders understand and act on their positions, simplifying Q&A with shareholders and proxy voting for everyday investors, and using data, experiments and user research to choose what to build. The role also coordinates with compliance, legal and ops teams on products involving shareholder rights and market data, and keeps leadership informed.
The posting places the role within prediction markets, one of the company's most recent business lines, where the product leader would shape a new offering for retail customers from the ground up.
Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree and at least four years of direct product management on consumer mobile products. Using research, experiments and analytics to guide decisions is required. Interest in markets and background in fintech, brokerage or investment platforms would also be valued.
