Key responsibilities include preparing month-end close entries, performing reconciliations, maintaining reporting data, and collaborating across teams. Within the first ninety days, the individual will take over routine close duties and establish relationships within the revenue team.

Responsibilities
- Manage recurring revenue close duties such as accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and related documentation
- Investigate variances and resolve routine reconciling items to maintain financial records
- Apply revenue accounting policies to recurring transactions and escalate judgmental matters
- Monitor recurring reporting data and check for completeness and accuracy in NetSuite
- Support monthly accounts receivable controls and customer-related adjustments
- Prepare schedules and documentation for quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Identify and execute practical enhancements to current processes for better timeliness and control
- Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners while maintaining clear process documentation
Requirements
- Three or more years of relevant accounting experience
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue accounting standards including ASC 606
- Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations with large data sets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with reporting tools or ERP systems like NetSuite or Zuora
- Ability to independently manage small-to-medium projects and identify process improvements early
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Certified Public Accountant designation or progress toward obtaining a CPA
