Within the first three months, the incumbent will independently manage core revenue close cycles, build strong partnerships across departments, understand revenue systems and data workflows, and deliver a meaningful process improvement or automation initiative. Compensation spans from $84,000 to $108,500 per year, determined by qualifications and experience within a location-based structure. Team members handle sensitive patient data governed by HIPAA regulations and participate in mandatory security training.
Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of core revenue close tasks including journal entries, financial statement analysis, controls, and reconciliations
- Apply ASC 606 standards and company accounting policies to recurring and moderately complex revenue agreements
- Examine monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue performance to spot trends, risks, and primary business drivers
- Collaborate with Legal, Operations, Strategic Finance, and Revenue Cycle Management teams to evaluate business transactions and support correct revenue recognition
- Lead revenue accounting process enhancements and automation projects to boost scalability, efficiency, and accuracy
- Track revenue reporting, systems, and data integrity to investigate discrepancies and coordinate resolutions
- Prepare schedules and documentation to assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits while resolving routine auditor questions
- Identify methods to strengthen internal controls, close procedures, and documentation standards
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of relevant accounting or finance experience combining public accounting and industry work
- Thorough understanding of ASC 606 and revenue accounting principles to handle moderately complex scenarios
- Proven track record of managing recurring accounting workflows, analyzing complex data, and turning findings into actionable insights
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities for engaging with senior-level stakeholders
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency paired with experience using ERP, reporting, or revenue applications such as Looker, Zuora, or NetSuite
